The personal trainer accusing Antonio Brown of rape said she has strong evidence against the player. Moreover, she passed a recent lie detector test backing up her allegations.
According to a federal filing submitted on Tuesday in Florida court by Britney Taylor, Antonio Brown's accuser is said to have passed a polygraph examination, strengthening the credibility of her rape accusations.
Based on the suit, Taylor, 28 reportedly met the player at a Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting held at the Central Michigan University nine years ago in 2010. They lost touch since then but reconnected after Brown reached out for help regarding his flexibility. A month after they reunited, Taylor said Brown accosted her. When she was changing, Brown suddenly burst in on her and started kissing her.
However, Taylor quickly clarified the terms of their relationship, and the incident was forgotten. They went back to being friends. As they had during their college Christian fellowship days, they often read scriptures, prayed or watched services together during training visits," the suit stated.
One day, as they were watching a religious video together, Brown is said to have masturbated behind Taylor and then proceeded to ejaculate onto her back. They lost touch after that, but a reconciliation happened once more in May 2018, the time when Taylor alleged Brown "pinned her down and raped her."
"Taylor . . . is willing and planning to meet with the NFL next week, which is as soon as she can," ESPN football reporter Adam Schefter tweeted. He also added that as of the moment, Taylor is going to tie the knot first before dealing with this case.
Antony Brown's camp is denying all allegations as of the moment. His lawyer has released a statement saying Brown will pursue all legal means to protect his name as well as make sure other professional athletes will be protected against false allegations such as this in the future.
Agent Drew Rosenhaus, in an interview with ESPN, said that he wants his client to just focus on his work first. He reportedly advised the player just to let the truth come out naturally instead of fighting this and wasting time. He told Brown to just cooperate with all the institutions behind the investigation. He also said that he and Brown are taking these accusations seriously. He would never condone such actions at all, so he is sure that these accusations are purely lies.
