Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got married, reports about the royal siblings growing apart have been pretty constant. The Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex had always been close, but multiple reports claim that the brothers are now feuding.
Rumor has it that Prince Harry felt that Prince William was not supportive of his relationship with Meghan Markle while he fully supported his older brother with his relationship with Kate Middleton. The Duke of Cambridge, allegedly, wanted the Duke of Sussex to not rush into things. However, the latter took the advice the wrong way. “The dynamic changed, that there was a shift and it was largely down to Harry resenting his brother,” royal expert Katie Nicholl said.
The feud, allegedly, didn’t stop with Prince William and Prince Harry as their wives have been rumored to not get along as well. Numerous reports purported that the Cambridges and Sussexes are not as close as they should be. In fact, the royal spouses are speculated to have thrown shades at each other.
When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle flew private jets four times last month, Prince William and Kate Middleton responded by flying commercial on a budget airline not long after. This move of the Cambdriges garnered them more praise from the public for being less fancy than the Sussexes.
Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are known for being activists of climate change, using private jets for their trip, in August, was not taken well by the public and were even called “hypocrites.” However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made it up in their recent trip to South Africa as they landed flying a commercial flight.
That’s not all! It appeared that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quietly slammed Prince William and Kate Middleton by showing that they travel for work and not for leisure. “This isn’t a holiday and they don’t want it to look like one,” a source told Vanity Fair. “This has been months in the planning and a lot of hard work has gone into the schedule. Their Royal Highnesses want to do some serious work on the ground, particularly at a community level.”
Prince William and Kate Middleton have been criticized for their lack of work ethics in the past. So, a report alleged that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be emphasizing their work to highlight their strong points and gain more popularity than the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
