To recall, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson confirmed their relationship in 2011, which is exactly two years since they were rumored to be romancing each other. In a previous interview with GQ Magazine, the 29-year-old American actress-director revealed that she got emotional while shooting the wedding scene in Twilight.
"When I looked at the set, with the pews and the lights, and I could see everyone there in their outfits, I cried...it felt incredibly ceremonial," Kristen Stewart revealed to the publication. "It felt like a real wedding," the Eclipse actress went on. Their exemplary performances on that particular scene even sparked speculations that Kristen and Robert Pattinson had tied the knot in secret, which is totally not true.
Most fans thought that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson would end up together. However, two years since they made their romance public, the pair stunned their followers with a split announcement. Reports about the actress cheating with Snow White And The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, also, made rounds online at the time.
With cheating scandal and other controversies that surrounded their relationship, there have been rumors saying that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson would never become friends again. Despite this, the pair has been very vocal on supporting each other's projects after the Twilight series came to a close.
In fact, Kristen Stewart showed some love for her ex-boyfriend at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month. When asked about her thoughts on Robert Pattinson's new role as Batman in the upcoming Matt Reeves-directed movie, the rumored girlfriend of Dylan Meyer said she still has his back.
"I feel like he's the only guy that could play that part," Kristen Stewart told Variety. "I'm so happy for him. It's crazy. I'm very, very happy about that. I heard that and I was like, 'Oh man!' It's awesome," she went on. The actress added that Robert Pattinson has the "perfect cheekbones" to portray the role of Bruce Wayne in the forthcoming The Batman movie.
Meanwhile, Kristen is set to appear on the imminent Charlie's Angels reboot film along with Ella Balinska, Naomi Scott, and Elizabeth Banks. The upcoming movie is set to be released on Nov. 15, 2019.
