WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for New Amsterdam Season 2. Read at your own risk.

New Amsterdam has done the unthinkable. It has been a few days already since the new season premiered. However, fans are still in shock after learning who died in the crash.

The episode titled, Your Turn, started three months after the accident. As the three-month-old Luna cries, Georgia spills "your turn" to Max to which he responded by getting up and taking Luna to his work.

Everything seems normal inside the hospital. Max even received good news about his health condition. However, things started to unravel as flashbacks of the past three months began to drop.

Helen and Lauren, who were both previously speculated to ultimately suffer the crash, turned out to be healthy and okay. In the end, it was Georgia who died after all.

It was revealed that Max was only picturing out what could have been the scenario if Georgia made it. In response to his imagination of his wife's "your turn" spill, he claimed that it's always his turn as he now stands as the mother and father to Luna.

No one predicted Georgia's death as told by TV Line. So, when the revelation came at the final moments of the episode, it became a shocking moment for the fans.

This may seem good news for the fans who initially shipped the "SharpeWin" relationship in New Amsterdam Season 1. According to reports, Georgia's death was heartbreaking in all sorts of manner. And this will leave Max again in a tremendous pain despite having improvements on his health.

It will not be easy, for sure. Even so, Max will try to heal and recover from the situation as depicted in the synopsis of New Amsterdam Season 2 Episode 2.

In a preview published by Cartermatt, the upcoming episode titled, The Big Picture, sees Max doing something unusual. It has been revealed that he will "invoke" a hospital-wide census for him to know everyone on a much deeper level.

It makes total sense as to why he wants to establish ties with the people he works with. He longs connection and he wants to forget. And this is probably one of his first steps to surviving the loss of his wife and eventually move on.

The longterm process of his healing, both physically and emotionally, is not yet clearly laid down. But, Max will surely reach this point soon.

New Amsterdam Season 2 will drop The Big Picture episode on October 1, on NBC.
