There's much anticipation for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, the follow-up to the hit drama series that made Walter White (played by Bryan Cranston) a household name. In recent weeks, Netflix has been releasing teasers for the film's release, and the most recent one shows that a fan-favorite character has returned.

In the teaser, Old Joe (played by Larry Hankin) is seen watching the news regarding the discovery of the runaway criminal Jesse Pinkman (played by Aaron Paul), Walter White's protege and assistant in Breaking Bad. Old Joe receives a call, which suggests that it's Jesse on the other end of the line.

Viewers will recall that Old Joe has helped Jesse and Walter over the years to hide their tracks from the authorities, including disposing of the RV where they used to cook meth. Could he be as helpful to Jesse this time around in El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie?

But, it's not just Old Joe who will mark their return in this long-awaited follow-up. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, series creator Vince Gilligan said that there are around "10 familiar characters" from the old series that will be featured in this latest offering.

Aside from Jesse and Old Joe, Skinny Pete (played by Charles Baker) will also be back as he was in the very first teaser released for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. His best mate Badger (played Matt Jones) will also be part of the film, and like Skinny Pete, he will likely be talking to the feds who are trying to chase after Jesse. Will both characters, however, reveal the truth or help Jesse evade the authorities by telling the feds a different story?

Another exciting character that fans could look forward to watching in El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie would be police officer-turned-hitman, Mike Ehrmantraut. Actor Jonathan Banks let this detail slip out during the recent Emmy Awards red carpet with Entertainment Tonight.

Then again, Mike's character died in the final season of Breaking Bad. Could he appear in a flashback scene or a hallucination? And, if this was the case, could Walter White also be in the movie despite the death of his character? Fans are convinced that the actor will be in El Camino: A Breaking Movie after he and Paul posted a similar photo on Twitter last June, at the height of the rumored filming.

Netflix will begin streaming El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie beginning Oct. 11 at 3:00 a.m. EST. The film will also be in limited theaters across the United States until Oct. 13 and will air on AMC in early 2020.
