Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington has returned into the spotlight at the 2019 Emmy Awards and so as the divorce rumors about him and his wife, Rose Leslie. The speculations that the couple is heading to splitsville has resurfaced after Harington walked at the red carpet alone.

Harington made his first appearance at the recent 2019 Emmy Awards after entering a wellness facility in May. Harington kept a low profile at the Emmys. He posed briefly for photographers and did not grant any red carpet interview. Harington, however, answered a question during the post-interview of the cast and crew of GoT following their win for Best Drama Series.

Many fans, however, are looking forward to seeing Kit Harington with Rose Leslie at the Emmys. Unfortunately, the actor attended the event alone as Leslie couldn't make it due to work commitments.

Prior to the Emmys, NW reported that Harington's marriage is crumbling because of his rehab stint. The publication cited a source as saying that the actor had become such an "arrogant person" that is driving his wife away.

Last month, OK! Magazine (via Gossip Cop) also reported that Harington was so depressed over Game of Thrones ending and it's taking a toll on his marriage. Leslie reportedly is getting annoyed as her husband for spending the supposedly happiest time of their life crying in a corner over a TV show.

Gossip Cop, however, debunked the rumor that the marriage of Harington and The Good Fight actress is falling apart. The site claimed that it had checked with Harington's spokesperson, who dismissed the speculations. The Pompeii actor's rep has stressed that the couple remains "very much happily married."

The co-stars and real-life couple was able to keep themselves out of the spotlight in the past couple of months. Harington entered a "wellness center" in May to deal with stress and other personal issues. He is now focused on making himself better with the support of his wife.

People Magazine reported that the How to Train Your Dragon voice actor has been spending quality time with his wife after he got out of the facility. The two also celebrated their first wedding anniversary in June.

Meanwhile, Harington has been true to his words and has been taking the first steps on distancing himself from his beloved GoT character Jon Snow. He has been confirmed to appear in the upcoming Marvel film The Eternals as Dane Whitman, a.k.a. Black Knight. The film is expected to premiere in 2020.
