Former couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston could be rekindling their romance at least on the silver screen if only the rumors are true. Since Pitt got divorce from Angelina Jolie and Aniston broke up with Justin Theroux, there have tons of rumors that the ex-couple and business partners are talking again to do or produce a movie together.

Prior to their divorce, Pitt and Aniston co-founded the production company, Plan B. They have produced critically-acclaimed movies such as The Departed, 12 Years a Slave, and Moonlight. After their split, Aniston left the company and Pitt took over as the sole owner.

Now, there have been rumors that Pitt is persuading his ex-wife to do a movie together that is based on their love story. The supposed narrative of the movie is how their love story unfold-from the day they met, their marriage, and finally, the breakup. However, Aniston allegedly is not on board of the idea, saying she is not ready to reopen old wounds.

"The only worry is that it's sure to reopen old wounds, which Jen in particular isn't sure she's ready for. Brad is cajoling her to do it though - he thinks it'll be cathartic for both of them," the Star source said.

Gossip Cop reported that both Pitt and Aniston's rep have refuted the rumors. Their respective spokesperson confirmed that the stories about their talents working on a movie together are completely false and nonsense. Pitt and Aniston haven't rekindle any relationship -- either romantic or business.

Earlier this year, there were also reports that Pitt and Aniston had a secret rendezvous at a Sony Studios lot to discuss film projects. Last month, another story circulated that Aniston is pitching some books to Pitt that they can turn into movies.

Back in 2017, a tabloid also claimed that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are planning to make a movie together to get revenge on Jolie. The project did not happen and the claim had proven to be false.

Brad Pitt is, currently, taking some time off after the success of his last two films, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Ad Astra. His company, Plan B, is set to release two movies this year. The King will be available starting on November 1 on Netflix while crime drama movie, Kajillionaire, is expected to hit cinemas before the year ends.

As for Aniston, her new TV series, The Morning Show, is set to premiere on November 1 on Apple TV. The Friends actress will play a lead role in the comedy-drama series along with Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carell.
