Wth this development, Jimin's Fake Love fancam has become the most viewed Kpop solo fancam in the history of the platform, All Kpop reported. The video, posted by YouTube user MPD, showed BTS' performance of Fake Love on Mnet M-Countdown with its focus solely trained on Jimin without leaving him for the 4:07 minute duration of the clip. The video has been liked 499,000 times by Jimin since it was uploaded on May 31, 2018.
Based on the comments section, Jimin's fans have made a goal of reaching 100 million views before the BTS member's birthday on October 13. Judging by the volume of views, it looks like it is possible. The video has increased its views by 67,485 in the space of a couple of days.
It seems fans, who use YouTube actively, are not the only ones who are planning something special for the birthday of BTS' Jimin this year. It has been reported that Chinese fans are planning to bring snow for the first time ever to Gangnam, Seoul in honor of their prince.
Based on a separate report by All Kpop, fan club Jimin Bar plans to make a Winter Wonderland in the center of Gangnam District by bringing in artificial snow. This is expected to inspire a fairy tale vibe for the BTS member's birthday.
The event is meant to be "an aesthetic and romantic experience, just like Jimin's voice and dance moves," the description on the fan project page indicated. The fan club will also be setting up a wishing tree in the area where fans can send their birthday wishes for Jimin. The group announced that a customized birthday doll and a giant birthday cake will be part of the present as well.
It seems the Jimin Bar has thought of everything because the group will be funding the hiring of people who will clean up after the event. However, they reminded fellow fans to also be responsible by making sure they do not leave the place dirty after they visit Jimin's Winter Wonderland.
Jimin Bar issued a reminder that notes and cards on the wishing tree is forbidden to keep litter at a minimum and assured that the artificial snow will remain until the weather condition permits.
