New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan is taking a personal case in the upcoming Blue Bloods Season 10 Episode 4. Whether or not it is a favor for his youngest son, Sergeant Jamie Reagan, it remains to be seen when the episode air next month.
The Reagan family dinners are back when Blue Bloods Season 10 premiered last week. In one of the upcoming episodes, Frank (Tom Selleck) will take over one of Jamie's (Will Estes) cases that involve the death of the terminally ill wife of his friend, FBI Agent Wilson Ortega (Emiliano Diez).
Frank will surely find the truth behind the case in Blue Bloods Season 10 Episode 4 especially if it is a murder. This one most likely caught the attention of the NYC police commissioner because he finds it odd for someone to kill a person who is about to die.
The Reagan patriarch may also be looking after Jamie's cases, knowing that his son and Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray) are still adjusting to married life. Jamie and Eddie tied the knot in the previous season.
Additionally, Eddie will clash with her new boss, Sergeant McNichols (Stephanie Kurtzuba) in the upcoming Episode 3. Frank may be thinking to give the newlyweds a breather from work.
In the first episode of Season 10, the newlyweds went on apartment hunting where they got a taste of married life both as cops and as Reagans. When the couple looked for an apartment, they noticed that the rent is ridiculously low. Jamie wonders if the discount that they are receiving is because they are cops as well as the son and daughter-in-law of the police commissioner.
In the end, Jamie and Eddie told Captain Robert Espinoza (Luis Antonio Ramos) their decision not to take rent discount and stay at the 2-9, with Janko working midnights. The captain instead offered them the lease he holds on his mother's old apartment and the couple accepts it.
Meanwhile, Assistant District Attorney Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynahan) will also receive an unsolved robbery case in Blue Bloods Season 10 Episode 4 that proves to be impossible to solve without help from Anthony (Steven Schirripa). Detective Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) and Detective Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez), on the other hand, will uncover the shocking truth behind a suspicious assault charge.
Blue Bloods Season 10 airs Fridays at 10 p.m. ET on CBS. Episode 4, titled "Another Look," will air on October 18.
