The son of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Archie Harrison, apparently resembles his grand-uncle quite a bit. Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex, was also a cute baby with little hair as seen in an old photo with Queen Elizabeth.
Unearthed in a fan account on Instagram for the Queen, was an image that showed baby Prince Edward on his crib as he looked up towards his mother, Queen Elizabeth. Her Majesty, who was in her late '30s when she had her youngest child, wore a powder blue ensemble and looked like an elegant mom in the photo.
Beside the Queen was Prince Andrew, who was about four years old when Prince Edward was born. While fans thought that this snap of the Queen with her two young boys appeared so adorable, some royal watchers could not help but notice that Prince Edward unexpectedly looked like Archie as a baby. Majority of royal fans, however, think that Archie is the spitting image of his father. Several publications have shown side by side photos of the Sussex royals to see just how much the two are look-a-likes.
However, as much as Archie may have inherited his father's ginger hair, some royal watchers think that he got his eyes shape and dark color from Duchess Meghan. Prince Harry's eyes are blue-green, although those were a lot darker when he was a baby.
Since Archie's features are still developing, it will take a few more years to lock down whom the royal baby resembles more. A day before Archie was born, Duchess Meghan told the press, when they presented the baby in public, that they are still trying to figure out who Archie looks like.
Meanwhile, the Sussex royals are still in South Africa for their royal tour. Archie hasn't made his second public appearance just yet, but his parents have been actively going to their various engagements.
On a visit to a Johannesburg art studio last Monday, Duchess Meghan received a surprise gift for baby Archie. According to CNN, the young royal was given a pair of dungarees (blue denim), which was custom made by a jeans maker.
The Duchess of Sussex had ordered a pair of jeans from this artisan through the British embassy a month ago and, when she came to pick it up on Monday, they gave her another pair for Archie.
