The previous chapter saw Goku and Vegeta in a training regime. This arc may get to its climax soon as the new chapter will focus mostly on Merus and Goku, as the latter is about to get closer to Ultra Instinct.
In Dragon Ball Super Chapter 53, Goku will continuously be under Meru's training. Goku strongly believes he is getting closer to becoming Ultra Instinct if Merus properly trains him. Merus knows a lot about Ultra Instinct, but he is trying to hide several things about it. However, as they are now in the chamber of space and time, he can finally reveal these secrets.
Vegeta, on the other hand, is set to learn something "completely different and new" in the new installment, per Animex Scoop. Here, he will be discovering new techniques. Vegeta will have a logical power-up that will help him stand his ground against Moro.
Ahead of Dragon Ball Super Chapter 53's release, Vegeta arrived at Planet Yardrat, and everyone there knew he was coming. At the time, Vegeta needed to know there was a move called "spirit control," which could open the pathway to different skills like teleportation, making copies, gigantification, and more.
Vegeta was ready to learn and be stronger. However, some of Moro's thieves arrived on Earth and faced Piccolo. Without a sweat, Piccolo managed to bring them down, thinking they were too weak to be even associated with Moro.
Dende confirmed these thieves were all related to Moro. But the moment Piccolo stopped them, it was too late. When Moro learned what happened, he sent another strong scouting party.
Also in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 52, Meru was already training Goku, but the latter couldn't even land a single punch. Goku then talked about Ultra Instinct, and he couldn't move on from it. So, Merus took a pause and discussed everything about it. He later revealed he knew the technique, and he was only hiding his power.
So in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 53, they will be in the Chamber of Time and Space to train where Merus reveals Goku can finally let it out without anyone knowing.
