Abel and Eve have played integral roles in the latest season of Lucifer. Their characters are deemed to be great additions to the show.

Of course, it is entertaining for fans to witness such iconic characters. The way how the show incorporated them in Lucifer's main plotline, it's wickedly witty and smart.

This has become one of the reasons why the fandom is expecting more of these characters in Lucifer Season 5. While it will be not surprising when the show introduces new faces and roles, fans will love it, especially those who are avid readers of the DC comic series where the show is loosely based.

Characters like John Constantine, Death, Angel Gabriel, Lilith, Adam, and Dream, or even God, are all depicted in the comic series. If Lucifer Season 5 will choose to have these characters onboard, then it will be the biggest installment of the show.

However, the show cannot incorporate new characters from the comics that easily. There are provisions, as well as limitations. Although it is not revealed what these are, adapting characters from the comics to the series entails a lot of talks and negotiations.

The show will need to have permission first from DC. Fans are hoping that it will push through since seeing all of the comic's iconic characters on small screens will be an advantage for the Lucifer Season 5.

According to Express UK, these iconic characters will bring more fun and compelling storylines to the show. Given that Lucifer is now back to his kingdom in hell, Death and Constantine will be great additions in this arc.

Fans are also convinced that Lucifer will try to redeem himself later on in the series. This is a plausible theory considering now that the devil himself is in love with a miracle, Chloe, and adding God and Gabriel to this part of the plot will be logical.

As for Lilith and Adam, they will likely appear when Eve returns. While no confirmation has been made if Maze's new love interest will be back, speculations are already apparent concerning the matter.

Whatever Lucifer Season 5 has in store for its fans, these things will surely make sense when the show starts to drop new episodes on Netflix. The release date is still kept undisclosed to the public. So, for now, fans will probably keep on digging new information about the plot based on the DC comic series until it arrives in 2020.
