Big revelation and a sacrifice unfold in the previous episode of Mayans MC Season 2. In the upcoming Episode 6, the attempt to rescue Adelita could result in violent consequences.
The synopsis for the upcoming episode, titled "Muluc," teased a violent confrontation would erupt following the action of the MC this week. In the previous episode, the Mayans planned a rescue mission for Adelita (Carla Baratta), who was taken by Lincoln Potter's (Ray McKinnon) mercenaries, but it didn't turn out as they expected.
In Mayan MC Season 2 Episode 5, EZ (J.D. Pardo) and Angel (Clayton Cardenas) returned home and found out what happened to Adelita. Bishop (Michael Irby) and Angel had a fistfight after the latter told the former that he couldn't be involved in the plan to save Adelita because of his action with the Swole Boys.
Angel, later on, revealed why he wants to save Adelita. She is carrying his child. Bishop allowed Angel to join the rescue operation.
The rescue operation was a success, but Adelita refused to go with them. She told Angel that she needs to remain in Potter's custody. So, he stops going after the rebels. The Mayans left her behind, leaving her and her unborn baby's fate at risk.
Meanwhile, Emily (Sarah Bolger) confronted Miguel (Danny Pino) about his feelings for Adelita. Miguel denied that he is in love with Adelita. He told Emily that he respects Adelita and admire her efforts in helping the poor in Mexico. Miguel said he also wanted to feel what Adelita feel when she helps those in need.
Emily also uncovered a secret between Dita (Ada Maris) and Felipe (Edward James Olmos). She visited Felipe and asked him about Dita (Ada Maris).
When Miguel did not say much, Emily showed him a box with photos of a younger Felipe with Dita and Emily called him by his real name, Ignacio. The old photos suggest that Felipe is Dita's security escort whenever she travels to other countries.
Miguel told Emily that the box was buried for a reason. He told her to trust him because the story behind the old photos will only hurt those she loves.
In an earlier episode this season, Dita told Felipe that Miguel is his son. She assured Felipe that no one knows about her secret except him and promises that no one will ever know about it.
In next week's Mayans MC Season 2 Episode 6, Emily is expected to dig deeper into Dita and Felipe's secret. Mayans MC Season 2 airs every Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on FX. Episode 6 is scheduled for airing on October 8.
