Ellen DeGeneres and Jennifer Aniston are known to be close pals. Now, it is rumored that their relationship is more than just that.
According to NW, DeGeneres has romantic feelings for the Friends actress ever since they met 30 years ago. Apparently, the TV host has the "hots" for Aniston and has been a huge fan of the actress' comedy series.
NW cited a source who claimed that the two have been spending many nights sharing glasses of wine and opening up on each other about their lives. This, allegedly, dismays DeGeneres' wife, Portia de Rossi.
The source said de Rossi knows DeGeneres has a thing about Aniston and she has been jealous that the host is spending so much time with The Morning Show star. The insider added DeGeneres and de Rossi "had a huge fight" over Aniston, which ended with the host storming out of their house.
Gossip Cop has set the record straight and debunked the rumor. The outlet cited a source close to DeGeneres, who just laughed off the speculation.
DeGeneres and Aniston are indeed close friends. In May, the host joked about how close she is with the Murder Mystery actress when their common friend and Aniston's The Morning Show co-star Reese Witherspoon was on her show. DeGeneres called Aniston on the show and ask her who is a better friend between her and Witherspoon. Aniston confirmed her 30-year close friendship with the Finding Dory star.
While it is true that DeGeneres and Aniston are good pals, they never had romantic feelings for each other. De Rossi is also Aniston's good friend. The We're The Millers actress even supported de Rossi at the launch party for her new art company.
Gossip Cop added that there is no indication that DeGeneres and de Rossi are having problems with their marriage. In fact, the Emmy winner host shared a romantic tribute to de Rossi on their 11th wedding anniversary in August.
This is not the first time the three celebrities got involved in rumors together. Last year, New Idea claimed de Rossi is too furious of Aniston, to the point that she warned her to stay away from DeGeneres.
The publication claimed de Rossie doesn't trust Brad Pitt's ex-wife around Ellen, and she fears that Jen is turning Ellen against her. New Idea cited a source claiming the Scandal actress knows DeGeneres is talking to Jen about their marriage, and she fears that Aniston will advise Ellen to break up with her.
