It looks like there are no more chances that EZ and Emily will get back together as the former seems to have found new love. Meanwhile, EZ and the rest of the clubs will deal with a human trafficking case in the upcoming Mayans MC Season 2 Episode 7.
A teaser for Episode 7 shows Bishop (Michael Irby) telling his men that they have to put everything on the side for the meantime until they resolve a new problem on hand. The Santo Padre Charter finds out about a human trafficking operation that involves Mexicans.
The Mayans MC is definitely on the hunt for U.S. Attorney Potter (Ray McKinnon) after what he did to Marcus (Emilio Rivera) in the previous episode. The president of the Oakland Charter was kidnapped and tortured by some mercenaries. Fortunately, the club found him on time after he sent a cryptic message to his crew and the cartel that gave them his location.
For now, the issue with Potter will have to wait. The U.S. attorney, on the other, is digging into the past of EZ (JD Pardo) and Angel's (Clayton Cardenas) father, Felipe (Edward James Olmos), and Ignacio, who also happened to be Felipe's real name.
Meanwhile, EZ meets someone that seems to be related to Johnny "El Coco" Cruz (Richard Cabral). He introduces himself to the girl while Leticia (Emily Tosta) stare at them with a suspicious look on her face. It can be recalled that Leticia made it known that she has an eye on EZ, but Coco had warned his friend about getting involved with his daughter.
The young woman with Leticia could be among the trafficking victims that were sneaking out of their country. She could be the one who will inform the crew about the other victims at the warehouse where they are being held.
Towards the end of Episode 7 teaser, the crew is seen saving the victims from a fire that broke out at the warehouse. The next week's episode is titled "Tohil," who is also the Mayan God of Fire. EZ was also seen telling Bishop that the trafficking that they have discovered could be part of a bigger operation.
Mayans MC focuses on the lives of EZ, Angel, and the rest of the gang as they take on rival clubs, the Galindo Cartel, federal agents as well as Adelita's (Carla Baratta) band of outsiders. The series is a Sons of Anarchy spinoff from Kurt Sutter and Elgin James.
Mayans MC Season 2 airs every Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX. Episode 7 will be released on October 15.
