Trouble is brewing for several members of the family in the upcoming The Conners Season 2 Episode 4. Becky seek to have a new position at the bar, Darlene is David and Ben, and Harris is in trouble again.
Now that Little Bev is out of the hospital, new mom Becky (Lecy Goranson) needs to have a high-paying job to support her child. She will seek another position at the Casita Bonita that causing concern to her father, Dan (John Goodman). Becky struggle with alcoholism, and Dan thinks it is not a good idea for her to apply for a bartending position.
Becky could probably convince her father that she can handle herself at the bar, and Louise (Katey Sagal) may help her as well. Now, Dan has more reasons to visit Casita Bonita: to check on Becky and to see Louise.
Darlene (Sara Gilbert), on the other hand, is torn between David (Johnny Galecki) and Ben (Jay R. Ferguson). She had rekindled the sexual relationship with David with still seeing Ben.
She knows that these men will eventually find out that she is cheating on both of them. In the previous episode, Darlene had a close call when Ben visited her while David is in her bedroom.
Harris (Emma Kenney) also knew that her mother has a secret affair with her father. Now, Darlene needs to decide whom she wants to have an affair with her childhood sweetheart -- who is also her ex-husband and the father of her children, or Ben -- who acts more mature than David.
Elsewhere, Harris will meet a new friend, Odessa (Eliza Bennett), but according to the episode synopsis, she will bring trouble to the Conners. The family has been dealing with Harris' growing up shenanigans lately.
In the first episode of Season 2, it was revealed that Harris has been baking "pot cookies" that contain marijuana. Darlene grounded her again.
In the previous season, Harris got arrested for underage drinking. She also lost her virginity. What trouble could Odessa bring to Harris and the Conners this time around?
The Roseanne spin-off follows the life of the Conners, a working-class family struggling to get by on a limited household income. After the death of the series lead character Roseanne (Roseanne Barr), they are forced to face the daily struggles of life in their home in the fictional mid-state exurb of Lanford, Illinois. The Conners Season 2 Episode 4 airs on October 15 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
