Miley Cyrus is expecting that she will get better soon after her new boyfriend visited her in the hospital and sang a song to her. Cyrus and Cody Simpson spent time together while the "Slide Away" singer is recovering from tonsilitis in the hospital.
Cyrus, earlier this week, revealed that she has hospitalized due to tonsillitis. The 26-year-old American singer is hoping that she will recover in time to perform at Ellen DeGeneres Wildlife Fund's Gorillapalooza concert on October 12 in Los Angeles.
Then, her dose of medicine has arrived, and she is falling all over again. Cyrus shared on her Instagram Story that Simpson visited her at the hospital with his guitar and roses on hand. Miley is clearly touched by Simpson's sweet gesture, especially when the 22-year-old Australian singer sang his new composition to her.
Cyrus shared a photo of her and Simpson cuddling up as he played the guitar. She also finally put a tag on her relationship with Simpson in her post.
"BF coming to visit me at the hospy. Arrived with roses and his guitar in hand #ImNotCrying #YoureCrying," she captioned one of her photos in IG Story.
Cyrus and Simpson first sparked dating rumors when they spotted kissing at the Backyard Bowls in Los Angeles earlier this month. Us Weekly cited an onlooker as saying that Miley and Cody are not shy in showing their affection toward each other. It was followed by Cyrus' post of Cody's picture in which she checked the boxes for "22" "Australian (my type)," "Abs," and "Hot Girl Fall."
Cyrus received backlash after their PDA photos were shared online. In a lengthy post on Twitter, the "Wrecking Ball" singer fired back on her critics and told them to get used to her dating. Cyrus and Simpson have been friends for several years before their relationship blossomed into romance recently.
Meanwhile, in another snap on her Instagram Story, Miley also appeared to make fun of her sexuality. In the photo of Cody, a Banksy-inspired artwork featuring a Star Wars stormtrooper with the text "Mom I'm gay" is seen in the background. Cyrus added a cheeky caption, "Btw mom... there's been a change of plans," on the photo.
The Hannah Montana alum split from Liam Hemsworth in August after nearly eight months of marriage. The Hunger Games actor subsequently files for divorce after her wife was spotted kissing Kaitlynn Carter. Cyrus and Carter, however, split in September.
