Reese Witherspoon, recently, left a flirty comment on Brad Pitt's photo that ignited a rumor about her and Jennifer Aniston. Allegedly, the Friends star is upset with the Big Little Lies actress for crushing on her ex-husband. Is there any truth about this?

When the comedian Mindy Kaling shared a photo of Pitt's cover photo on GQ magazine on her Instagram, Witherspoon left a comment that read, "Oh, dear," accompanied by a heart-eyed emoji. A tabloid, then, used this scenario to create a story about Aniston feeling furious over what the Legally Blonde star did.

"It took around 20 seconds to get back to Jen, who was insulted," an alleged source said. Although Witherspoon's comment seems harmless, Aniston feels it is a disrespectful thing to do. The 50-year-old star is, allegedly, annoyed and thinks her friend is thirsting on Pitt all along.

The insider went on to say Aniston felt bothered with Witherspoon's comment because she has been trying to reconnect with Pitt. "They could very well come out publicly as a couple in the near future," the tipster contended. There are only a few people that the Murder Mystery star can trust and now she feels like Witherspoon is not one of them.

Gossip Cop debunked the rumors surrounding Aniston, Pitt, and Witherspoon. The representative of Justin Theroux's ex-wife called this story "absurd and completely false."

Aniston is in no way upset with Witherspoon for leaving a comment on Pitt's photo. She, too, doesn't believe Witherspoon is lusting over Angelina Jolie's former husband. It is also impossible to happen as Witherspoon is married to the talent agent Jim Toth.

Also, Witherspoon and Aniston are good friends. They will soon be seen on the small screen together for The Morning Show on Apple TV+; this is not the first time that they will be working together. To recall, Witherspoon played the role of Aniston's younger sister on Friends.

Witherspoon told Harper's Bazaar that they started to form a close friendship from the time they shared a scene on the small screen up to this period. At the time, she was only 23-years-old and just had a baby.

Witherspoon proudly said that Aniston was very sweet to her. As she was too nervous about filming their scene together for Friends, the superstar comforted her, saying she shouldn't worry about it. "I marveled at her ability to perform in front of a live audience like that with no nerves," she said. The Morning Show is set to be out on Friday, Nov. 1, on Apple TV+.
