President Elizabeth McCord will take action against those responsible for the gas attack at the United Nations in the upcoming Madam Secretary Season 6 Episode 3. Meanwhile, the Senate Intelligence Committee's investigation on McCord's presidential campaign will continue, and Senator Hanson will be targeting one specific staff of Elizabeth.

Elizabeth (Téa Leoni) will be dealing with another attack on US soil in the upcoming Madam Secretary Season 6 Episode 3, titled "Killer Robots." It seems like Elizabeth's security agencies will eventually track down those responsible for the terror attack, and they are about to make them pay for their crime.

The problem is she might find it hard to decide on which course of action to pursue against the culprits. Elizabeth will be torn whether to use lethal autonomous weapons, also known as killer robots, or send boots on the ground. It looks like her advisors are also divided on what course of action to take.

As Secretary of Defense, Elizabeth has been a member of presidential security advisors. She has been regularly consulted by the president not only on diplomatic concerns but also on what action to take for or against a foreign country, group, or individual.

Now that she is the President of the United States, she convenes her National Security Council to make critical decisions. Elizabeth has been known to be thorough with her decisions in the past. Her decisiveness will be tested more than ever now that she is the Commander-in-Chief of the most powerful nation in the world.

Meanwhile, Blake (Erich Bergen) will be questioned by Senator Mark Hanson (Wentworth Miller) about potential campaign finance violations related to his love life. It is not clear why Hanson will target Blake in the upcoming Madam Secretary Season 6 Episode 3. It can be recalled that Hanson's committee has subpoenaed Elizabeth's presidential campaign staff.

Elizabeth's friend and campaign chief-of-staff Michael "Mike B" Barnow (Kevin Rahm) was questioned by the Senate Intelligence Committee in the past episode. The Senate investigation is focused on whether or not the McCord campaign team conspired with Iran to steal the election from Senator Miller.

Elsewhere, the First Couple will be in search of a perfect dog. Elizabeth and Henry (Tim Daly) will adhere to the tradition of past U.S. presidents having a pet in the White House. In real life, President Barack Obama has the infamous dog, Bo. George W. Bush has the dog Miss Beazley and the cat India. Bill Clinton has Socks and Buddy.

The McCords, particularly Elizabeth, are fond of horses. It would be interesting to see if the First Family will end up getting a dog in the White House or will name one of their horses at their family farm as the presidential pet. Madam Secretary Season 6 Episode 3 airs on October 20 at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
