The CW has finally started Arrowverse's course. Along with it, the new season of Supergirl premiered a few weeks. It is now two episodes deep in its plot.
While the first two episodes already provided fans with information on how Season 5 will proceed, some things have remained unknown. It only fits, though, considering that the show always houses a total of 20 to 22 episodes per season.
Even so, Cartermatt has been able to find hints and clues as to what will probably happen in the upcoming episodes. For Supergirl Season 5 Episode 5 titled, Dangerous Liaisons, is hinted to bring new danger in town, thanks to the episode subtitle, A New Danger Arises.
It is still unknown what kind of danger Kara and the rest of the crew will face. But, fans are convinced that this danger will not involve Midnight, given that the character has been already introduced during the premiere.
Some theories and speculations are concluding that the "new danger" might be referring to the Leviathans. Although it's possible, no one knows for sure.
The synopsis of Supergirl Season 5 Episode 5 also hints that Alex's life will be put in jeopardy. Hence, the episode is likely emotional and dramatic considering that Alex and Kelly are just about to celebrate an anniversary before the danger happens.
Meanwhile, Kara and William are said to expose "terrorist plans" in the upcoming episode. And this will happen on the eve of the launch of Andrea Rojas' VR contact lenses.
Other fans and viewers are also concluding that the danger might be centering on this arc. Besides, exposing terrorist plans already entails risks and dangers. So, it's another theory that fans may watch out.
So far, these are the only definite details that have been shared about Supergirl Season 5 Episode 5. Although they are very general and somehow vague, things will certainly make more sense as the show progresses. Accordingly, more details will arrive, along with the trailer and teaser materials, in the next few weeks.
It is also worth noting that an episode of the upcoming five-part Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover installment will happen on Episode 9. So, everything that is about to happen in the next few weeks will probably play huge roles in the events of the crossover.
Supergirl Season 5 continues to drop new episodes every Sunday, on The CW. As for the Danger Liaisons episode, it will air on November 3.
