Power season 6 episode 9 didn't air last week, and it will be arriving later this week instead. The official Twitter account of the series announced that the upcoming episode, titled Scorched Earth, will air on Sunday, October 27, on Starz.
Despite the delayed arrival of Power season 6 episode 9, the short promo of the upcoming episode teased what will happen next, and more lives could be on the line. The clip starts with Tommy talking to Ghost over the phone, and it looks like their conversation isn't well.
Ghost told him that everything would be over soon. However, Tommy probably thinks that Ghost is behind LaKeisha's death. Then, the scene shifts to Tommy meeting Detective Blanca Rodriguez, wherein the latter told him Lakeisha planned to testify against him.
But, then, Tommy responded she wouldn't do that to her, and LaKeisha was her girl until the end. In the previous episode, Tommy was excited to start a family with LaKeisha and Cash, and he's even looking at rings to propose.
When he got home, however, his girlfriend was already dead -- who was supposedly getting ready to flee. Tommy is close to having a real family, but everything disappeared, just like that. Fans also suggest he's now experiencing what Ghost experienced when he killed Angela in season 5 finale.
The question now is: what would be Tommy's next move in Power season 6 episode 9? He's not going to move on and let it pass simply; he'll probably do everything to avenge the death of Lakeisha. But, will he also fight for the custody of Cash and move to the suburbs with him to fulfill her girlfriend's wishes?
Meanwhile, aside from Tommy's drama, Power season 6 episode 9 will also see Ghost meeting with drug lord Jason, wherein the former told the latter he needs a "silent partner" and "emphasis on silent." Saxe, on the other hand, is trying to convince Tasha to flip on Ghost.
In the later scene in the trailer, Tasha warned Ghost, saying he should watch his every move. That's not the only problem of Ghost in Power season 6 episode 9, as Councilman Tate continues his feud with him. He also has some key information on Ghost, as the clip ends with the politician telling him: "I know who you are James, or should I say Ghost."
