Taeyeon is poised to resume her activities after her comeback schedule was postponed to give the singer time to mourn the death of her good friend Sulli.
According to a report by All Kpop, Taeyeon released the adjusted timetable of her comeback schedule. Based on the schedule, fans will be able to check her full tracklist by October 21. Teaser images and highlight clips will follow from October 21-25.
It will be an eventful week for Taeyeon's fans since there will also be MV teasers to be made public on October 24 and October 26. A final teaser image for the album will be released on the 27th, which is the day before the official; release of her album Purpose on October 28.
Fans were, recently, worried about Taeyeon after the news of Sulli's death since their close relationship was known to the public. As trainees for Girls Generation and f(x), they shared a dorm with Tiffany. Many have referred to Sulli as Taeyeon and Tiffany's baby sister.
The friendship between Taeyeon and Sulli continued for many years, and they have been often spotted supporting each other's projects and activities.
Taeyeon's fans have taken to social media to share their support for the singer after the tragic news. In recent months, Taeyeon opened up about suffering from depression.
Supporters encouraged her to take as much time as needed to recover from her loss and supported her decision to postpone her comeback until she is fully recovered, NST reported.
This was not the first time Taeyeon suffered an emotional loss in recent years. SHINEE's Jonghyun, who committed suicide in 2017, was also one of her closest friends, whom she considered her little brother.
Taeyeon was not the only artist who opted to postpone schedules to pay respect to Sulli. IU, another close friend of Sulli, also announced the postponement of her "Love Poem" mini-album, which was reportedly scheduled for release on November 1.
IU's label initially announced the postponement following news of Sulli's death. However, IU recently issued a personal message to her fans, apologizing for the delay.
"As a producer and singer, I feel so sorry for the fans because I decided because of personal problems. I won't keep my fans waiting too long. I promise not to make a disappointing performance. I'm so sorry and always thank you," IU said in her statement posted by KstarzLive.
It can be recalled that one of Sulli's last projects was a cameo in IU's recent drama Hotel del Luna. It was reported that IU requested her friend to make a surprise appearance in the drama, which was well received by the audience.
