AppleTV Plus already dropped the official poster of Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon's new series, The Morning Show. But, despite its promising look, there are rumors the 50-year-old star hates the key art because she thinks the Big Little Lies star looks prettier than her.
A tabloid created a made-up story about the new show's poster and Aniston. A so-called source claimed the We're the Millers star's friends revealed that she's not happy that Witherspoon looks "natural and pretty" while her face looks rounder. She even, allegedly, complains that she seems "fuller and rubbery," hating the poster's outcome.
Gossip Cop debunked this tale and insisted that the article was only based on the words of an anonymous insider and not a legit one. Aniston's spokesperson even disproved the claim, confirming there is no way the Friends star is upset about her show's poster.
It's also worth noting that Aniston is The Morning Show's executive producer. So, it's very likely that she has something to do with the poster's layout. It's also impossible that Apple would release an advertisement without the approval of its stars or even the series' producer.
Also, Aniston and Witherspoon are good friends in real life. So, it is quite unbelievable that she would be jealous of her co-star's looks on the poster. The article about her alleged irritation over their looks is quite absurd and insulting.
Meanwhile, to make things lighter, Aniston and Witherspoon recreated their iconic scene from the Central Perk in Friends. To recall, the two played the sister roles, Rachel and Jill Green, in the '90s television show.
In a clip from their recent interview with Access Hollywood, where they were promoting The Morning Show, Aniston and Witherspoon recalled their momentous line from Friends Season 6 Episode 14, titled "The One Where Chandler Can't Cry. "You can't have Ross," Aniston said, bringing everyone back to the time of Rachel and Ross' "will-they-won't-they" romance. "Can't have? Can't have?! The only thing I can't have is dairy," Witherspoon responded.
Although they paraphrased their lines and changed the way they delivered their words, there is nothing like the feeling of reliving a lot of people's favorite show. The two also looked pleased with themselves after doing the stint.
Now, everyone is hoping The Morning Show will be a great new series that viewers will watch out for. Aside from Aniston and Witherspoon, the show will also feature Steve Carrel and more. It is set to be out on Friday, Nov. 1, on AppleTV Plus.
