The showrunners, Sera Gamble and John McNamara, stressed out that Jason Ralph will no longer return as a "series regular." They also clarified that his death does not mean that "his story is done" on the show. It only means that Quentin is dead, and Jason Ralph is no longer a series regular.
With these statements at hand, fans are convinced that Jason Ralph will still be seen in The Magicians Season 5. While no confirmation has been made about the matter, this caused many to look forward more with the new season's arrival on the network.
On another note, there will also be new changes in the showrunner's crew. Reports confirmed that Sera Gamble and John McNamara would be joined by Henry Alonso Myers, who has been part of the executive producers' team in the past installments. He is also known for his other works, like The Carrie Diaries and Covert Affairs.
Gamble and McNamara went on to further express their joy and excitement with their new co-showrunner. As per their statements, Myers' addition to the team will be very helpful for The Magicians.
