The recently aired NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 4 left a huge question about Kensi and Deeks' future, particularly if they're ready to start a family as they initially thought they're having a baby.

Through the first half of NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 4, Kensi was struggling with the danger in the case revolving around Ebola. This was unusual for her since Deeks was the one who's more apprehensive about danger, as well as their future.

Deeks confronted her, and that's when Kensi told him that she was late. There's no guarantee that she was indeed pregnant, but the possibility has never left her mind. She hasn't taken a pregnancy test, and she also avoids talking about it with Deeks, believing that "it was nothing."

Kensi believes she's got other responsibilities to deal with, that's why she's occupied with other things. While being a parent is something that's on her and Deeks' mind, it doesn't seem as though they're trying to talk about it most of the time.

Before NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 episode 4 ends, Kensi told Deeks she wasn't pregnant. But, that conversation, however, leads to other bigger conversations regarding the subject. They started to think more about their future, particularly about considering starting their own family.

Kensi apologized for not talking to Deeks about having kids. In their past conversations about starting a family, they usually ended up not talking to each other, or the topic would come up again during a fight at another time.

However, Kensi didn't do that this time and told her partner that she's done "not talking about it." She told Deeks avoiding the issue because he's afraid is a ridiculous act. Kensi, then, explains she married him because she wants to tell him everything.

Deeks, on the other hand, admitted that he's afraid of losing Kensi. However, she assured him that would never happen. With this kind of conversation, it seems like these two are now planning to start their own family -- possibly soon.

The last time these two talked about having a baby was back in season 7 when Deeks found a parenting magazine in Kensi's bag. At that time, they briefly touched the subject of having a baby and, if it could impact their partnership. However, they didn't settle on what the future held for them.
