MOMOLAND fans can now get direct updates from members Nayun and Nancy after the members revealed that they opened their personal Instagram accounts. MLD Entertainment, recently, announced that Nayun and Nancy will be maintaining their personal Instagram accounts to share more updates with their fans.
This comes after MOMOLAND Yeonwoo and Hyebin revealed their personal accounts recently. Merries, MOMOLAND's official fandom, has long been clamoring for the members to have their Instagram accounts so they won't have to wait for the agency to post updates about their activities. MLD maintains an official account where they share information and promotions about the group's events, All Kpop reported.
In her first post, MOMOLAND Nancy shared a simple photo of the seaside with a short message, "Hi" to greet her fans. Nayun also posted photos from the city as her introduction to the world of Instagram.
While there has been no news of a comeback for MOMOLAND, MLD Entertainment has focused on the group's activities outside Korea for the meantime. The agency partnered with Philippine television network ABS-CBN so that the group could appear in a travel show that showcases the different tourist sites in the country, Myx reported.
Nancy is also set to have her acting debut in the Philippines with a romantic comedy series entitled The Soulmate Project, opposite local heartthrob James Reid. The series revolves around the concept of the government assigning soulmates for its citizens after an unabated issue of heartbreak plagues society. Filming for the series is expected to begin early next year.
MOMOLAND enjoys tremendous popularity in the Philippines following the success of their dance hits BOOM BOOM and BAAM. MOMOLAND visited the Philippines for numerous performance before signing the contract with the local network.
While the next few months is set for members of MOMOLAND, MLD remains silent in addressing the issue of when members Daisy and Taeha will return. Fans, recently, asked the agency for a truthful explanation about why the two members have been sidelined for group activities after Daisy's mother implied that MLD Entertainment forced the pair to go on hiatus despite fulfilling their duties as MOMOLAND members.
She also claimed that her daughter and Taeha cannot complain because they are bound by their contract to the agency. Daisy's mother, recently, took to Instagram to express frustration at the agency and shared that her daughter has been while her management lives calmly and shamelessly, KstarzLive reported.
