Apart from BIGBANG's success in the music scene, G-Dragon also established his peaceminusone empire and brought the brand to the world's fashion capitals.

The BIGBANG leader showed off his natural sense of style with a simple but trendy suit and looked like he was ready for get back to work anytime.
G-Dragon's new music
Before G-Dragon entered the military in 2017, he released his third solo album entitled Kwon Ji Yong. He used his real name as the album title to show a different side to fans.
He wrote and produced all five songs that were included in the album and collaborated with artists like Teddy, 24, Future Bounce and Choice 37. He was able to come up with edgy and memorable songs that achieved an All Kill in Korean charts in record time.
His world tour MOTTE also yielded millions in revenue for YG Entertainment before his mandatory enlistment. In his previous interviews, G-Dragon admitted that he does not have trouble writing songs because he was trained to make it a habit before his debut. With almost two years serving the military, fans can expect his notebook to be filled with new songs inspired by his new experiences as a soldier.
Answering scandals
BIGBANG is no stranger to scandals as the members weathered many setbacks and intrigues in the past. Even if maknae Seungri's involvement in prostitution and illegal gambling allegations happened while G-Dragon was in the military, fans will expect the BIGBANG leader to issue a statement on his member's issues.
G-Dragon may also address issues surrounding the reduced length of military enlistment he had to serve under the Ministry of National Defense's reform.
A new direction for YG Entertainment
When CEO Yang Hyun Suk stepped down from YG Entertainment, it was reported that the agency suffered a lot in terms of direction since the former head was directly involved with the artists' activities, promotions, and music. The agency also, reportedly, lacked a main cash cow to bring in profits to the company.
With G-Dragon's penchant for producing hits and his knowledge in the creative and marketing side of music, his inputs and star power could become what YG Entertainment needs at this time to set its future direction.
