Amidst the revelations of Jenna Dewan about how Channing Tatum's relationship with Jessie J affected her, the couple shared their sweet photos on Instagram. In the former dancer's new wellness book, Gracefully You: How to Live Your Best Life Every Day, she revealed she was "blindsided" with the news that her ex-husband started dating the famed singer-songwriter.
Jessie J shared two snaps on Instagram Stories with Tatum in front of a Ferris wheel. Although the black-and-white photos look similar, they made two different poses. In the first photo, the 31-year-old singer's shades were on her head, while the 39-year-old actor's cap was hiding his eyes. In the second picture, he wore his cap backward while she donned her shades appropriately.
According to HollywoodLife, the couple might be at the beach at the time the photo was taken. Aside from the said photographs, Jessie J also shared several Instagram Stories at the Oceanside with her girlfriends.
There was also a snap where Tatum put his arm around her shoulder while walking in the distance. It was the first time that the "Price Tag" hitmaker shared a snap of the Magic Mike actor since calling him as her "cuddle machine" in an earlier Instagram Story.
However, their public outing came a few days after E! News shared some excerpts from Dewan's new book, in which she admitted her "blindsided" feeling when Tatum started dating Jessie J last year. The 38-year-old actress wrote that she was learning the things about her ex over the internet, as it was happening, which most people would never experience.
"There I was, on a plane, alone, finding out about his new relationship," Dewan continued. "I felt blindsided."
Although Dewan admitted that it was tough to learn everything about her personal situation with the rest of the world, she is still "choosing grace." To recall, the Step Up stars announced their decision to split in April 2018 after nine years of marriage. They then filed for divorce in October of the same year, citing irreconcilable differences. They have one kid, the 6-year-old Everly.
Despite the revelation, Dewan tried another shot at love again when she met fellow actor and Tony Award winner Steve Kazee. Now, the two are expecting their first child together.
Dewan revealed that, when she felt like she was ready to love again, she started dating "someone amazing." She even described there was a cosmically feeling that they circled back around each other after a moment of instant recognition years ago.
