On Sunday, a raw and emotional interview of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from ITV was aired. The documentary titled, Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, sparked discussions and debates among royal fans and experts. This is because some find it very revealing and moving, while others see it as "insulting" and worrying.

According to CNN, a "source close" to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed that the statements made by the royal couple are turned into "anti-Prince Harry and Meghan hysteria." It was also stressed out by the source that the palace is full of "afraid" and "inexperienced" people, especially when it comes to "harnessing" the real value of the royal couple.

Based on the source's words, many of these palace people said that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have "single-handedly" modernized the British monarchy. While some experts and fans believe that the couple has truly modernized the monarchy, others have been quite critics about the matter.

Daily Mail laid the documentary down and how it went during its airing period. ITV reporter, Tom Bradby, was the one who conducted the interviews of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

In it, an emotional Meghan Markle surprised everyone upon revealing that she's "thriving" the royal life. It also seemed that she was about to cry when Tom Bradby asked her if she's okay.

Meghan responded to the question by thanking him. She told him that not many people would ask her if she's okay and this is why the question shocked her. She also explained how "damaging" it is after she "tried and tried" to keep up with her new life.

On Prince Harry's part, the viewers and fans became even more surprised when he, for the first time, confirmed a "tension" between him and his brother, Prince William. Although he did not directly state that there is a rift between them, this is what many have concluded based on his words.

According to Prince Harry, they have "good days and bad days" as brothers. He also added that they don't see each other much recently as they are both "busy." Even so, he still expressed that they "love" each other no matter what.

The Sun UK reported that the ITV documentary has caused many senior royals to worry about the Sussex couple. Along with the seniors, royal aides and fans are also bothered after witnessing the interviews.

A day after, the palace also released a statement from Prince William stating his "worries" about his brother and the Duchess of Sussex. Nevertheless, it was revealed that the two princes already talked everything out in private.

In the end, royal fans are left with the notion that, instead of modernizing the monarchy, it seemingly appears that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is "embarrassing" the royal family.
