The Santo Padre will not let Vatos Malditos' betrayal unpunished. In the upcoming Mayans MC Season 2 Episode 9, EZ, Bishop, and the rest of the crew will be plotting their revenge against the Mexican motorcycle club for what they did in the previous episode.
In the previous episode, the Mayans met with the Vatos Malditos despite the tension between them because of the human trafficking concern Episode 7. SAMCRO president Chibs (Tommy Flanagan) mediated the meeting to cement their gun business deal with the two other clubs.
The clubs reached an agreement but later that night, Vatos Malditos ambushed the Mayans with gunfire and Molotov cocktails. Riz (Antonio Jaramillo) took two bullets to his chest when he tried to save Taza (Raoul Max Trujillo). Coco (Richard Cabral), on the other hand, got hit by a Molotov cocktail that set his body on fire. EZ (JD Pardo) managed to extinguish the flame off Coco's body but the latter told his comrades that he can't see anything.
In the sneak peek for Mayans MC Season 2 Episode 9, both Coco and Riz are rushed to the hospital. Coco will be out of the hospital soon enough but not Riz. The club members are seen rolling out Coco in a wheelchair and with a bandaid on his eye.
At the club meeting, Coco is seen wearing an eye patch on his right eye. Will Coco lose his eye forever?
Riz, on the other hand, is still in critical condition in the hospital while Taza remains on his bedside. Will Riz survive his injuries?
In next week's episode, titled "Itzam-Ye," Mayans will no way let VM's sneak attack pass. It is not only a clear violation of their deal but more importantly, puts Coco and Riz's lives in danger. In the teaser, Bishop (Michael Irby) calls for a meeting to decide for their next action.
"Vote your heart but don't ignore your head," Bishops tells his crew.
Meanwhile, the synopsis for Episode 9 also teased about huge revelations that could affect the San Padre's plan for revenge. The teaser also shows Alvarez (Emilio Rivera) warning EZ about lying to him. El Padrino might be referring to EZ and Emily's (Sarah Bolger) investigation into Felipe (Edward James Olmos) and Dita's (Ada Maris) past relationship.
In the previous episode, it was revealed that Dita paid a hitman to target Felipe and EZ's mother, Marisol. Felipe, however, asked Emily to keep the information to herself. Mayans MC Season 2 Episode 9 airs on airs on Tuesdays at 10 pm ET/PT.
