Arrow season 8 episode 3 will air next week and we're going to see Thea Queen returns in the series. Titled "Leap of Faith," the upcoming episode will see Willa Holland's character trying to do her best to save the impending death of his brother, Oliver (Stephen Amell).
In the synopsis of Arrow season 8 episode 3, Thea and Oliver reunite and they find themselves looking through a familiar maze of catacombs. Thea has been one of the best characters in the series and many were happy she returned to the show.
In the promo of next week's episode, Oliver tells his sister about how the Monitor predicted his death Crisis on Infinite Earths. So, Thea will not just sit there and let that happen; she'll try to do everything she can to save her brother.
Arrow season 8 episode 3 marks the first time we see Thea this season. But, it was already teased in the first episode how important she is to Oliver's world. On Earth-2, it was revealed that Oliver didn't return home following his accident at the sea.
This made Thea devastated, and she became addicted to drugs and was overdosed during her 18th birthday. Her return in the upcoming episode is all about Oliver's physical mission, and they reunite so Oliver will recognize how important these moments are in the future.
Thea is the only family he has now before he became the Hood. The original Laurel is already gone, as well as Moira and Robert. In addition, Felicity is missing in action -- the woman whom he fell in love with during his journey. With Thea's return, Oliver needs his sister to be reminded of his humanity.
In another part of Arrow season 8 episode 3, Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson) and John (David Ramsey) will be working together for a special mission. Their story is recognition of how important these characters could be in Crisis on Infinite Earths.
It seems like their knowledge and resourced proved to be useful in dealing with numerous threats, such as the Anti-Monitor. Clearly, Lyla and John are willing to do whatever they can in order to help everyone.
Arrow season 8 episode 3 will air on Tuesday, October 29, on The CW. This episode is directed by Katie Cassidy, and written by Elizabeth Kim and Emilio Ortega. Also, there are only eight remaining episodes before the series finale.
