The Affairs is saying goodbye to its fans and its series finale episode will feature the much-awaited wedding of Whitney and Colin. Will The Affair Season 5 Episode 11 end in a happy note for the Solloways?
The teaser for the upcoming finale suggests it will not at least for Noah (Dominic West). In the previous episode, Whitney made it clear that she doesn't want her father at her wedding. This is despite the fact that Noah saved Helen (Maura Tierney) from a rattlesnake and from becoming one of the victims of the wildfire in the previous episode.
It seems like Whitney hasn't changed her mind about what her father has done. In the teaser for The Affair Episode 11, Noah and Helen's daughter is seen in her wedding dress and walking down to her wedding ceremony with her mother on her side. Noah is seen peeking through the fence probably to witness Whitney's nuptials from afar.
Understandably, the author wants to be around in his daughter's wedding that he planned himself. He also knew, however, that Whitney would allow it after the Vanity Fair story came out and hot tub incident years ago.
However, the sneak peek also hinted that things might get better between Noah and his daughter. There is a chance that Whitney could change her mind about her father's presence at her wedding. Noah is seen smiling brightly in the teaser while standing in what looks to be at Whitney's wedding. Will Whitney's big day end up as a family affair after all?
"If pains could echo through generations, so could love," a voice can be heard saying at the beginning of the clip.
The teaser also shows Noah walking down the road while Helen seems to be meeting someone at a lounge. Are Noah and Helen getting back together? Based on what transpired in the previous episode, the two are clearly still in love with each other. Are they going to have an "affair" at the end of the series?
In the previous episode, Noah and Helen had a serious talk while trying to run away from the wildfire. The former showed remorse for the bad choices he made in his life while Helen admitted that she has an awful life after their divorce.
The Affair series finale is expected to give closure to the main characters' storylines. Fans are also thrilled to see how Noah build a new life after all the realizations he made in the previous episode. Don't miss The Affair Season 5 Episode 5 on November 3 at 9/8c on Showtime.
