There is much excitement for The Mandalorian, the new Star Wars series that will air on Disney+. The new show created by The Lion King director Jon Favreau is currently one of the most highly anticipated shows that will air on the streaming service.

This probably has a lot to do with the exciting new trailer that puts the focus on the villain played by Werner Herzog. In addition to that, the teaser promises several action-packed scenes that will put the heroes in jeopardy.

The trailer opens with Werner Herzog's mysterious character declaring that the world is more peaceful after the revolution. However, he also expresses regret that the Mandalorian's people suffered during the uprising. Nevertheless, it was expected since "bounty hunting is a complicated profession."

On the other hand, that also means that the mysterious character, who is referred to as "Mando," is not an easy man to put down.
It doesn't take long before the titular Mandalorian is shown fighting multiple Trandoshans in what appears to be a cave, and there is also a glimpse at his awesome ship. It's already clear that this guy is a big deal, as Werner Herzog claims that he "is the best in the parsec." Mando's skills are immediately shown off as he takes on several Stormtroopers. But why is he in the presence of this mysterious new villain?

The Mandalorian will star Pedro Pascal as the titular bounty hunter who is finally heard in the trailer. When the villain tells him to "look outside, they are waiting for you," Mando simply responds, "Yeah? Good." It's a cocky response that proves this isn't a guy you want to mess with because he will confidently take you down. But, will he prevail in the series?

The Star Wars show will also star Deadpool actress Gina Carano as Cara Dune, a former Rebel Shock trooper who becomes a mercenary after the fall of the Empire. Predator actor Carl Weathers will appear as Greef Carga, the leader of a group of bounty hunters who employs Mando on a secret mission.

Fans will also recognize former Breaking Bad star Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, a former Empire governor who may make things more difficult for the hero. Interestingly, Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi will provide the voice of IG-11, a droid who ends up working with the Mandalorian.

Are you ready for the new Star Wars series? The Mandalorian will premiere on Disney+ on November 12.
