TWICE has posted the highest sales record in the Gaon chart for their eighth mini album Feel Special. Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Mina, Sana, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu sold 400,000 copies for their comeback album.
According to a report by All Kpop, Gaon Chart confirmed that this is the highest sales record for any TWICE album since their debut. TWICE also topped the highest first-week sales for any Kpop group in September.
Adding to its record-breaking streak, TWICE's Feel Special also surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, making the MV the 12th TWICE video to achieve the feat.
TWICE is, currently, in Japan for its TWICELIGHTS Japan Tour where they will perform for their fans in major Japanese arenas. Eight members of TWICE will entertain with amazing performances that started at the Makuhari Messe Stadium in Chiba on October 27, 29 and 30.
Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu will take their TWICELIGHTS concert to the Osaka-Jo on Nov. 6 and 7. TWICE will also perform at the Sekisui Heim Super Arena at the Miyagi Prefecture on November 16 and 17.
The girls will have a final show in Nagoya's Portmesse Stadium for three nights from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1 to wrap up this year's concerts. TWICE will return next year to Marine Messe Fukuoka on Feb. 11 and 12, Shizuoka Stadium ECOPA in Fukuroi City on Feb. 22 and 23, and the Tokyo Dome Arena on March 3 and 4.
The two-night Tokyo Dome concert was, recently, added by JYP Entertainment due to popular fan demand.
TWICE is expected to focus on their Japan promotions for the remainder of the year, especially with the upcoming release of their "Fake & True" album on Nov. 20. The second album comes with 10 tracks including the title track Fake & True, Stronger, Breakthrough, Changing!, HAPPY HAPPY, What You Waiting For, Be OK, POLISH, How u doin, and The Reason Why. How u doin is one of the most anticipated tracks in the album because it is partly written and composed by Chaeyoung.
Meanwhile, JYP has still not released an official date for the return of Japanese member Mina, who went on temporary hiatus from group activities because of anxiety. The agency assured that Mina's return will be made gradually until she is completely recovered. JYP also said that they will prioritize her health before they decide her comeback, Soompi reported.
