Jennifer Aniston has been linked with several celebrities since her break up with her husband, Justin Theroux, in late 2017. The latest actor that she is rumored to be spending time with is Mad Men star Jon Hamm. Jennifer Aniston's camp, however, claimed that there is no truth about it.
Aniston herself made the facts straight. She is not dating anyone at the moment and for the record, she also hates being set up.
The Friends actress is, clearly, keeping tabs on the dating speculations about her. The recent dating rumors about her and Hamm stemmed from an NW tabloid report the two are going on secret dates.
The romance, allegedly, blossomed after the two were set up their mutual friend Paul Rudd. The Ant-Man actor, reportedly, told his good pal Jon that it's about time to go out with Aniston. Rudd and Hamm have been friends for years, same as with Jen. The two worked together in Friends and movies such as The Object of My Affection and Wanderlust.
NW cited a source as saying that Rudd knows that Hamm is Jen's long-time crush and, since both of his friends are now single, it is perfect for them to hang out together. The source claimed that Aniston and Hamm have been enjoying "romantic rendezvous" at their Los Angeles homes. Their idea of a hot date is, reportedly, quietly spending time at home while sharing laughs over a bottle of wine and some takeaway food.
"Jen always thought Jon was a good-looking guy, but she never realized how funny and charming he was too. Now she's on the receiving end and she can't get enough," the source claimed.
However, during her recent appearance on The Howard Stern Show (via PEOPLE magazine), Aniston stressed that she doesn't want to be set up by friends. She also confirmed that she is currently single and has no time to date because of her busy schedule.
The actress is, now, promoting her Apple series The Morning Show alongside Reese Witherspoon and also preparing for its next season. Brad Pitt's ex added that she is also busy with other projects aside from The Morning Show. Aniston is the co-owner of the production company Echo Films.
Gossip Cop also debunked the Aniston-Hamm romance story. The publication reached out to Aniston's rep who said the rumor is nonsense. The actress' rep confirmed Hamm's attended Jen's 50th birthday back in February because he is a friend. The rep, however, stressed that there is no romance happening between the two.
