G-Dragon has been catching up with good friends after his military discharge last Oct. 26. In a recent Instagram post, Goo Hara shared a snap of herself and the BIGBANG leader while they were hanging out at a studio.

According to a report by Soompi, Hara posted a photo of herself and G-Dragon sporting casual clothes in what appears to be a studio. She captioned the snap with the words "Hwaiting to all of us!" which may indicate that they could be working on a new project.

It can be recalled that, in 2017, G-Dragon became close to Hara, Sulli and Gain after they developed a friendship during Paris Fashion Week. The foursome was even spotted at an amusement park enjoying the rides. Fans were happy to see that G-Dragon and Hara stayed friends even after completing his mandatory enlistment. In some of the comments, fans said that they were glad that they can rely on each other after the shocking death of their good friend, Sulli.

Fans of G-Dragon are expecting a lot from his comeback after the slump that YG Entertainment has been experiencing amid drug, prostitution and illegal gambling allegations involving BIGBANG maknae Seungri and former YG CEO Yang Hyun Suk.

Sales and stocks from the company suffered amid the controversy, prompting Seungri's retirement from the entertainment industry and Yang Hyun Suk's resignation from his post.

According to a financial analyst Lee Kihoon of Hana Financial, G-Dragon's return with BIGBANG members could save YG from its dropping stocks.

Lee said that, before their hiatus, BIGBANG was responsible for bringing in 40-50 percent of the company's revenue. If their previous success is replicated with their comeback, a Japan Dome Tour could bring in 30 billion won for the label easily.

Lee also shared his optimistic outlook for YG's fourth-quarter earnings and said that activities from BLACKPINK, AKDONG Musician, and WINNER could also bring up YG's profit margins.

YG has been quiet about plans for G-Dragon's return, but VIPs have been clamoring for a BIGBANG comeback after Taeyang and Daesung's completion of their mandatory service next month. BIGBANG T.O.P. has been lying low in the music scene since his discharge in July but his recent interactions with G-Dragon have fuelled excitement among fans that the members will reunite soon.

"I've returned after completing my military service. Thank you for waiting for me and for coming to see me today. I will be returning to my original occupation, and I will work hard," G-Dragon said in a tearful greeting to 3,000 fans who welcomed him back from the Yongin Military Base last week.
