Wonho is not the only MONSTA X member facing controversy. Former idol trainee Han Seo Hee, recently, went on the attack and accused Starship Entertainment of covering up an alleged affair that Shownu had with a married woman.

In a post on her Instagram story, Han Seo Hee shared details of a text message with an individual who was planning to take legal action against his wife for suspicions of having an affair with MONSTA X's Shownu, All Kpop reported.

However, when the individual tried to contact Starship Entertainment, the label explained Shownu's side of the matter.

According to the text message from Starship Entertainment's legal team, Shownu was unaware that the woman was married or had a boyfriend. The agency further said that Shownu would never have gotten involved with the woman if he knew that she was in a relationship.

They assured the man that Shownu had not been in contact with the woman since Sept. 10 and that he did not want to get involved in any lawsuit between the couple. Han Seo Hee took down the post shortly after.

In response to allegations of a cover up, Starship Entertainment stated a clarification on the matter. The label admitted that Shownu was in contact with the woman before her marriage. However, the MONSTA X member was not aware that she got married in August because she did not inform him of the development, Metro reported.

Starship Entertainment acknowledged that they met with the husband to clear up the matter. Shownu stopped seeing the woman immediately upon learning that she was married.

"Shownu revealed that he would not get involved in the matters of a married couple's relationship, and a text was sent via the law firm to confirm this stance," the agency stated.

Han Seo Hee also made allegations against another MONSTA X member, Wonho.

In her social media post, she alleged that Wonho spent time in juvenile detention when he was a minor because of special charges. She also accused Wonho of owing Jung Da Eun 30 million won.

The allegations prompted Wonho and Starship Entertainment to part amicably to protect MONSTA X from criticisms.

In his letter to fans, Wonho confirmed his exit from the group and apologized to those who were disappointed by his previous mistakes. He appealed for continued support for his members and said that they should not be involved in any criticism based on his mistake.
