Koreans chose BTS V or Kim Taehyung as The Most Handsome BTS Member when they were asked in a street survey by Youtuber JerryRic. V was the pick of the overwhelming majority in the vlog Asking Koreans to Pick the Most Handsome BTS Member.
According to a report by All Kpop, JerryRic decided to conduct a casual survey on the streets of Korea to ask the general public whom they thought was the most handsome BTS member. The majority of the respondents picked V because his eyes drew their attention. Some said that Kim Taehyung's well-defined face and sharp nose were the reasons they picked him over his other six co-members.
This was not the first time that V was picked by the public because of his strong visuals. It can be recalled that BTS member was the most searched topic in Yahoo Japan when fans first saw him perform on stage during a BTS show. "The guy in the yellow shirt" because of a top search topic among non-BTS fans as a result of their curiosity.
V also trended in China's Weibo after BTS' shows in China as "the most handsome guy in blue hair." In BTS' first concert in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, V trended for the topic "Taehyung," "the one with the green mic" and "Serendipity."
In a recent survey done by JTBC's Idol Room, fans also picked V as the most handsome among 100 Kpop idols who were listed in the survey.
It can be recalled that Kim Taehyung was also selected as the Prince Charming of Kpop by the King's Choice Awards. V beat fellow BTS member Jungkook and ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo to receive the honor. V was also recognized as the Most Handsome Man for 2017, 2018 and 2019 by the same poll body, another report indicated.
According to plastic surgeons, V has the most popular face among Kpop idols based on the number of clients wanting to look like him. They said that V's face has the golden ratio that most Koreans favor.
Industry experts also voted V as the winner in the Asian Male category of the Fashion Face Awards voted by professional photographers and renowned makeup artists.
V's visual appeal and vocal skills also translate to outstanding sales margins for the products he endorses. His merchandise is often the first to be sold out in BTS concerts, as well as collaborations with top brands such as Mattel and Uniqlo.
