Cody Simpson has shown off how close he is to the family of her lady love Miley Cyrus. In his recent post on Instagram Story, he shared some videos of him with the Cyrus family.
Miley and Cody shared several photos of them during Halloween. The couple dressed up as rock legend Billy Idol and his flame Perri Lister for Halloween. They wore studded black leather jackets and chain necklaces.
Underneath the jacket, the "Slide Away" singer also wore black lingerie and fishnet stockings, while Simpson went shirtless with leather pants. Miley also wore a short black wig to copy Lister's hair, and Simpson's blonde hair was styled in spiked like Billy Idol.
Then, it was followed by PDA moments of the couple while hanging out with the Cyrus family at their Nashville home. In a black-and-white clip that the 22-year-old Australian singer posted on Instagram Story, Miley is seen trying to pick something off his face which prompted them both to laugh. The "Wrecking Ball" singer, then, was heard saying "He's my baby" as she lays her head on his shoulder.
Simpson also shared a clip of Miley's mother, Tish, smiling and dancing while dressed up in a brown furry coat and black makeup to resemble a bear's face. Miley's younger sister Noah Cyrus also took to her own Instagram story on the same day to share clips that showed Simpson chatting and eating with her, Tish, and others in a kitchen while Miley is preparing toast.
This is not the first time Simpson has spent time with the Cyrus family. According to People, the couple was first spotted out for breakfast in Los Angeles with Tish last month. It was the day after Simpson confirmed his relationship with the Hanna Montana actress with reporters.
Cody hanging out with Cyrus family doesn't come as a surprise to many considering he and Miley have been friends for years through their romantic relationship only started a few weeks ago. Miley started dating Simpson last month after she ended her relationship with Kaitlynn Carter in September. Since then, the two are inseparable and have been posted PDA all over social media.
Some fans, however, can't help but compare Cody's relationship with the Cyruses to how Liam Hemsworth spent time with Miley's family. Many recalled how awkward Hemsworth looks like in the family photo with the Cyruses in Christmas 2016. In the snap, the Hunger Games actor looked a little out of place while standing next to Miley's dad, Billy Cyrus.
