Prince William and Kate Middleton's relationship is getting stronger despite all sorts of rumors that were thrown on them. In fact, they became more comfortable teasing each other in front of a crowd.
Years ago, the future King and Queen of England led a fundraising for ICAP during the Charity Day. Prince William and Kate Middleton competed against each other in trying to solicit the most donations. The couple has been known to be very competitive towards each other especially when they are on opposing teams.
At the time in order to raise more money, they contacted several individuals on the phone. While doing so, Kate Middleton seemingly flirted with a broker. Prince William overheard his wife and immediately call her attention.
"Catherine, I think you can stop flirting with him now," Prince William teased her. "Sorry, my wife is just embarrassing me!" he told the man nearby as everyone in the room burst out in laughter.
This is just for charity but the royal couple showed their confidence in their relationship as well as Prince William's ingenuity. The Duke of Cambridge probably thought the audience might think of something else about what Kate Middleton is doing so he immediately stepped in to inject humor into the situation.
Prince William is an expert in handling situations as such considering he has lived amidst the media scrutiny of his every move. Anything he and his family does will land on the headlines.
Moreover, the royal prince himself had been in compromising situations in the past. Two years ago, he had been speculated to be flirting with an Australian model in a Swiss club while his wife is in London.
The Duke of Cambridge, at the time, was spotted excitedly taking the dance floor and at some point, took the model's cowboy hat before putting it over his head. Prince William was also seen wrapping his arms around the model.
A clubgoer said that she was surprised to see Prince William dancing wildly that she had to do look closely to confirm that it was not a lookalike. Royal expert Katie Nicholl said it is safe to assume that Kate won't be happy to know about her husband's escapades.
Just recently, Prince William is also rumored to have an affair with their former friend and Norfolk neighbor, Rose Hanbury. The alleged affair is, reportedly, the reason why Kate had a fallout with Hanbury. The couple took the rumor to their advantage and use it as an opportunity for Kate Middleton and Prince William to talk about their relationship.
