Prince Harry resumed his royal duties following the announcement that he and his wife, Meghan Markle, will be taking a six-week hiatus from royal life. Harry took some time to visit a training session of Japanese para-athletes in Tokyo, Japan.

The Duke of Sussex was photographed smiling while talking to some students and para-athletes. Apparently, Prince Harry learned about the sports that the students and the athletes are playing.

Princess Diana's youngest son has been an advocate of disabled athletes. Prince Harry founded the Invictus Games in 2014. It is an international multi-sport event where wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel and veterans could participate in several sports disciplines.

Prince Harry is, currently, in Japan to attend the Rugby World Cup final between England and South Africa in Yokohama. After his trip to Asia, the prince is expected to return to England and then travel to the U.S. where he, Meghan Markle, and their son, Archie, will be spending Thanksgiving Day with the Duchess of Sussex's family.

It was earlier announced that the Sussexes would be taking a break from their royal duties following Harry's confession about the rift between him and his brother, Prince William, and Meghan Markle's revelation that she has been struggling with royal life.

Queen Elizabeth II, reportedly, approved the break after the couple's controversial ITV documentary Harry and Meghan: An African Journey documentary that angered the monarch. In the said documentary, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex gave a glimpse of the challenges they have been facing as newlyweds and new parents while living in the spotlight this past year.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's hiatus will, reportedly, take six weeks starting in mid-November until the end of the year. However, there have been speculations that the family's upcoming trip to the US could be the beginning of their plan to permanently move to the States where they could get a respite from the British press.

Princess Diana's former butler and assistant, Paul Burrell, said, in an interview, that he expects that the Sussexes to consider buying a home in the United States like what Princess Diana initially planned for her children. In an interview with Fox News, Burrell revealed that Diana had hoped to move to California.

He said the princess planned to buy a Malibu house where there are rooms for Prince William and Harry. For now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's plan is to come to the U.S. is to spend time with Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland.

"It's not possible for them to be [in the UK] like this. There's more pressure now. There's a shift that is happening," a source told People.
