Callen and the rest of the team will dip their fingers into the world the video games as they solve a murder of a Navy officer in the upcoming NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11 Episode 7. Reports also indicate that Anna Kolcheck could be mentioned in a future episode this season.
Agents G. Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) will cross paths again with insurance broker Katherine Casillas (Moon Bloodgood) in Episode 7. The online video gamer in this week's NCIS case is a client of Katherine.
At first, the team will be called in to look into the killing of a Naval researcher who is working on some military classified project that concerns the nation's security. It looks like the serviceman is working on an undersea drone prototype but it will be stolen by someone who also killed the Navy researcher.
The NCIS: LA's investigation leads them to another man whom Agents Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) and Detective Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) found dead. However, it seems like there is no sign of the missing drone.
In the teaser for Episode 7, Kensi is seen saying the entire Navy will be a risk if the drone lands on the hands of US enemies. Callen, on the other hand, says, "It tips the balance of power in the Gulf." The team could be suspecting that the theft of the drone is connected to a country in the Middle East.
The team will also find a link between the dead man to a video game streamer's party where the drone could go on sale to the highest bidder. The streamer happened to be Katherine's client.
Meanwhile, TVLine reported that former AFT agent Anna Kolcheck (Bar Paly) will be mentioned in an episode of NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11 next month. According to the outlet, Callen and Sam would be discussing the former's relationship with Anna.
CBS has yet to release a synopsis for Episode 11 in which Anna will get mentioned. There is no word from the network either if Anna will return in the flesh or what will trigger the Callen and Sam's conversation about her.
Arkady Kolcheck's (Vyto Ruginis) daughter was last seen in the previous season after she escaped from prison. The team, with the help of Callen another ex-girlfriend CIA Agent Joelle Taylor (Elizabeth Bogush), followed Anna in Cuba.
It was later revealed that Anna plots her escape after she found in prison the whereabouts of Callen's father. At the end of the episode, Anna told Callen that she wants to stay in Cuba.
NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11 Episode 7 airs on November 10 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS. Episode 11 in which Anna is supposed to be mentioned is expected to air on December 8.
