Blue Bloods fans need to chill as Nicky Reagan-Boyle is not completely leaving her family back home in New York City. She will still be seen in Blue Blood Season 10 but in a lesser number of episodes than before.

According to TVLine, Nicky (Sami Gayle) may find a new job in San Francisco, California but she may still join the family dinner once in a while. Fans would recall that, in Blue Bloods Season 10 Episode 5, Nicky informed her family that he got hired for the job in San Francisco.

She is thrilled to talk about the start-up company that she is about to be part of as it helps economically challenged people in the urban areas. The company identifies people to be beneficiaries of their socially responsible investments like start-ups and green initiatives.

Erin Reagan's (Bridget Moynahan) daughter may have started a new job and eventually plant her roots in California. However, it may still be hard for her not to miss her family gathering. Nicky is expected to show up on important occasions, if not the weekend, Frank Reagan's family dinner. As her uncle Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) told her, she should not forget the family dinners and don't stay away too long.

Meanwhile, actress Sami Gayle hasn't posted any message on social media informing Blue Blood fans about her departure from the series. It means her character's stint in the Bay Area could only be temporary or she may be enduring flying on weekends to be with her family.

Nicky could have second thoughts about moving across the country after contemplating what her great grandfather, Henry "Pops" Reagan (Len Cariou), said about his secret of a long life. Henry said in the previous episode that his secret to a long and happy life was that he never left NYC.

To make it harder for Nicky to move out, each member of the family take turns in sharing how they will miss the city they moved away. Erin, on the other hand, assured her that she could move back in with her family when she decided that California is not for her.

Frank Reagan's (Tom Selleck) made sure that his granddaughter will be missing his wise advice over the dinner table. When Nicky informed the family about her new job, Frank reminded her how she always gets thoughtful advice from her family.

Whatever future holds for Nicky in California, she remains part of the Reagan family and fans could see her again in Blue Bloods Season 10. The new Episode 7, titled "Higher Standards," airs on Nov. 8 at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
