Kate Middleton is now working on a new photography competition called Earthshot Prize. The Duchess of Cambridge, along with her husband Prince William, is currently working on the trademark of their new accolade to make it their own.

Kate Middleton has been known for her love in photography. She also prefers to take their own pictures that she incredibly excels at. She is even praised for the photographic portraits of her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

The Duchess of Cambridge took photographs of her kids and shared it with the public. Either an important milestone or an occasion, she always has her camera ready. She will have it published for people to see. She even took the photos of Prince Louis' first birthday in April.

Hence, it is not surprising that Kate Middleton and Prince William are launching a photography competition of their own. According to Express, the royal couple's charitable organization, the Royal Foundation, is already applying for the trademark of Earthshot Prize to the Intellectual Property Office.

The application noted high importance had been put on the Earthshot Prize with the possibility of using the name on photographs, clothing, footwear, and headgear. The trademark will also be covering other areas like education and training services, publishing, cultural activities, and any subjects relating to nature conservation and the environment.

The Earthshot Prize will be the first project under the Royal Foundation that Kate Middleton and Prince William will launch after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry build their own organization, the Sussex Royal. PureWow noted that Kensington Palace has yet to give or confirm any details about the Earthshot Prize, but Kate has been working to "further photography education" as of late.

Earlier this year, she even visited a photography workshop run by the Royal Photographic Society and Action for Children in Kingston London. The mother-of-three gave kids advice about taking beautiful photos. She even revealed that two of her kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, are both budding photographers and gamely participated in the workshops with the kids at the event.

After the event, Kate Middleton was named the new patron of the Royal Photographic Society, following Queen Elizabeth II. The Royal Photographic Society was founded in 1853, aiming to promote the art and science of photography. In 1854, it received Royal patronage from Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. It also supports disadvantaged youngsters from around the United Kingdom.
