Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are bravely taking a stand against the media over the malicious allegations thrown against them. They are also defying the constant bullying they are often facing by suing a British tabloid. With all the things the Sussexes are going through, are they getting the support of Prince William and Kate Middleton?
In a discussion on Quora, a royal fan asked fellow online users if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex get the support of the Cambridges in the middle of their battle. Avid royal watcher Scarlett P Bassett said that Prince William and Kate Middleton also have their own struggle with the media. They, too, successfully sued a publication and won when a French magazine published her topless photo.
At the time, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were on private land, and the photographers were caught using long-range lenses. As the two experienced the same thing, and Prince William and Prince Harry are brothers, they inevitably get the support of the senior royals. However, Bassett added that William might be already fed-up with his younger sibling's "constant battles and self-inflicted negative press coverage."
Princess Diana's former butler, Paul Burrell, supports the claim, adding Prince William will be supportive of his little brother's legal action. "The brothers have vowed that no one will be allowed unwanted access to those they love," he told Us Weekly.
Hence, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will get the royal family's support in their fight, opposing all the rift rumors surrounding them. The younger prince deems his wife is becoming a victim of the press, just like his mother.
He doesn't want the mother of his child to experience the same thing as Princess Diana, so he will never sit back and watch everything fall apart in front of him. They want to air their voice, so they're willing to put up a fight against the media.
However, another royal fan, Graham Short, believes their battle has something to do with the royal family. He claims Prince William shall take the monarch's side and not Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's.
Allegedly, the former Suits star's continuous battle against the royal family and royal tradition give Queen Elizabeth II a lot of problems to deal with. Hence, Seventy Thirsty's psychologist, Bryony McLardy, suggested, via Express, that the Sussexes should "borrow a page from Prince William and Kate Middleton's playbook."
Prince William and Kate Middleton also have to face their own media scrutiny. Still, they can work with them without the same level of criticism that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle experience. So, he advised the royal couple should learn to embrace the royal tradition and etiquette to avoid being criticized.
