Kang Daniel fans are gearing to wave his own lightstick as the K-pop star revealed his official fan light stick. The announcement came ahead of Daniel's scheduled three-day fan meetings in South Korea and the release of his new digital single.
The lightstick features the KD initials of the artist as the centerpiece of the merchandise. It also has a black handle and a clear top. Half of the top is transparent where Daniel's initials can be seen. It also has a blank piece of white paper that fans can fill up with anything.
Daniel's agency, KONNECT Entertainment, has yet to reveal a release date for the lightstick as the announcement only says "coming soon." It is expected, however, that fans can get their hands of the merchandise on or before Kang Daniel's fan meeting that is scheduled later this month. The agency added that the custom versions of the lightstick will also be available in the future.
The Color On Me singer will be holding his fan meeting, titled Color on Seoul, from November 22 to November 24 at the Kintex Hall in Ilsan. Daniel is expected to debut his new digital single in the fan meeting.
The former Wanna One member earlier announced that he will release a new single this month. It is scheduled to drop on November 25 at 6 p.m. KST, marking Daniel's first comeback as a soloist.
Speaking of a new single, Daniel has also dropped a teaser for his upcoming single. The teaser doesn't feature the artist at all but it captivates the attention of fans. The poster shows the words "Kang Daniel" and "Coming Soon" and a single metal ball that is placed at the center of a spread red fabric.
Daniel's fans, also called DANITY, are excited to hear the K-pop idol's new song and its music video. Based on the red mysterious teaser, many fans are expected a sexy and hot concept MV from the 22-year-old singer.
Kang Daniel made his solo debut in July after winning a legal battle with his former management agency LM Entertainment. He dropped his first solo EP, Color on Me, along with its lead track, "What Are You Up To," on July 25. The album sold over 342,000 copies in one day, setting a brand new record in South Korea for the highest first-day physical sales in 24 hours by a solo artist.
In September, the EP received a double-platinum certification from Gaon Chart after it surpassed 500,0000 copies sold. Kang Daniel achieved this milestone in just 50 days.
