Prince William and Prince Harry were close siblings since then. It was revealed that they shared a very tight relationship with each other even after the Duke of Cambridge's wedding to Kate Middleton.
As it happened, the Duke of Sussex has become fond of his sister-in-law, which made him spend a lot of time with the couple. In fact, the young prince even used to stay with the Cambridges under one roof.
According to Business Glitz, Prince Harry and Prince William used to "hug" a lot, especially when they don't see each other for a long time. Sources further shared that the royal siblings used to share a lot of personal things as they "understood" each other more than anyone.
As per the publication, a royal author, Angela Levin revealed in her piece titled, Harry: Conversations With The Prince that the two princes learned "physical warmth" from their mother, the late Princess Diana. The things they learned from the princess was directing them into a more "emotionally-led approach" to everyday life.
However, things have seemingly changed when Prince Harry met Meghan Markle in 2016. Based on reports, the now-Duchess of Sussex is the reason why the royal siblings are in a serious and deep feud in recent times.
In a live episode by New Idea Royals podcast, royal expert and commentator, Angela Mollard shared that she has a few theories in mind as to what happened between the two princes. As per her claims, the feud likely started when Prince William shared his concerns over Prince Harry's decision to marry Meghan Markle.
These "concerns" were probably due to his care for his brother. But, since the now-duchess Meghan is a very sensitive subject for the Duke of Sussex, he likely took his brother's "concerns" as offensive, she explained.
It is worth noting that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle met on a blind date in 2016. Just after spending a couple of dates, the couple surprised everyone upon announcing their engagement a year after.
Quite obviously, this made Prince William a little bit concerned, considering that he, himself, took precautions before marrying his long-time girlfriend, Kate Middleton. Accordingly, he probably shared his views about marriage to his younger brother, which Meghan's husband likely perceived as an attack, she concluded.
No confirmations have been made, though. Nevertheless, Prince Harry seemingly confirmed an ongoing rift between him and his brother in his recent interview with Tom Bradby.
