Queen Elizabeth II reportedly feels at ease knowing that Kate Middleton will help Prince William to lead the monarchy when the time comes. Her Majesty is said to be in favor of the Duchess of Cambridge for having the attitude that is similar to her, turning the Queen to become an instant Kate's fan.
In the Royals podcast, royal insider Angela Mollard revealed that Queen Elizabeth is assured that the monarchy "rests in good hands" with Kate Middleton. Royal family insiders also added that she "absolutely loves" Prince William's wife, per Express.
Her being ordinary and the way she doesn't get uptight are what Queen Elizabeth loves the most. Hence, she feels the future of the whole royal family is safe with Kate Middleton.
Angela Mollard said that Kate Middleton "embodies the same British sentiment of keep calm and carry on" as the Queen does. "She loves that she is unflappable," she added.
According to Vanity Fair, with all the controversies the royal family faces, it's a breath of fresh air for Queen Elizabeth to have Kate Middleton around. Kate manages to remains one of the most popular members of the royal family. She is also busy working after a half-term break in Norfolk.
Queen Elizabeth was also all praises for Kate Middleton after her recent tour in Pakistan with Prince William. There, Kate gave her first-ever TV interview and made headlines all over the world, thanks to her incredible fashion choices. She also got everyone's attention when she stopped the royal convoy to meet a local family.
"The Queen is a fan," a royal source said. Queen Elizabeth's approval of Kate Middleton is just a bonus of her wonderful year. Two thousand nineteen seems to be a good year for the mother-of-three. Biographer Claudia Joseph said that she looks happier, in control, and there's a new confidence about her.
Angela Mollard supported the claim, adding Kate Middleton has been displaying major changes in the past year - especially in the way that she has been growing with her family. The way she shopped at Sainsbury's with her kids to pick their Halloween costumes showed how she lives an ordinary life.
She didn't even get annoyed when the cheating scandal about Prince William emerged earlier this year. Kate Middleton managed to keep her calm, which was the same as Queen Elizabeth's manifesto of "sense of duty, keeping calm, and unflappability." Kate embodies the Queen's attitude toward things, which her own children don't.
