Ben Affleck is now returning home with Jennifer Garner. This is despite the actor's recent relapse and admitting his mistake to his ex-wife.

During the recent UNICEF Masquerade Ball in Los Angeles, Affleck failed to keep his sobriety. He was spotted drunk in the street while waiting for his ride home. The following day, some reporters caught him on his way to Garner's house and reportedly admitted his mistake to her.

Now, it is rumored that the Batman actor is back at Garner's home as the actress allegedly asked for it. According to Star, the Alias actress offered to Affleck to move back in to keep him away from temptation and break his sobriety again.

"She's determined to do whatever it takes to save him from his demons," the source told the outlet.

The insider added the Gone Girl actor had second thoughts at first about moving back in because he doesn't want Jen to watch his every move. Garner, however, allegedly insisted and laid out the house rules for her ex-husband including no booze allowed in the house, a curfew is imposed, and no more dating party girls.

The source said Affleck eventually agreed to Jen's terms. The actor thinks that it is Garner who can prevent him from relapsing again, in addition to the fact that he can spend more time with his kids when he moves back in. The former couple is currently co-parenting their three children: Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and 7-year old Samuel.

Despite their split in 2015, Jennifer Garner has been very supportive of Ben Affleck's sobriety journey. In August 2018, Garner even drove Affleck to a rehab facility, and since then, the actor has been diligent about his sobriety.

The two finalized their divorce in October 2018. Affleck dated Saturday Night Live producer Lindsay Shookus. The two split in April. The actor reportedly back in the dating game, specifically on the dating app Raya.

As for Garner's boyfriend, John Miller, the source said the businessman is getting fed up with Ben's never-ending drama. The actor, however, assured him that he has nothing to worry about him leaving in his ex house again.

Gossip Cop, however, debunked Star's story. The publication noted that Affleck is not back in Garner's home as he is not even in California at the moment. Gossip Cop said Ben is currently filming his upcoming movie Deep Water in New Orleans. The cast and crew of the movie began filming early this month and it is expected to wrap shooting in February 2020.
