The Sofia the First voice actress then cleared that she didn't change her medicines because she wanted to lose weight. She already accepted her figure at the time, and she was okay with it.

However, Ariel Winter got inspired to find a medication that would help her as a person and do all the things she wanted to do. When she changed her medicines, she started feeling better about herself mentally, losing weight, and making her think she's not stuck anymore and moving on in life.
